About your hosts

Before leaving the rat race behind for good, Caroline used to manage a large hotel in Paris. Skilled in picture framing and upholstery, she has applied her savoir-faire to furnishing and decorating the bedrooms.

Her husband, Christophe, runs the family farm, which dates back to the 1800s. Crops include wheat, sugar beets, corn, barley and rape seed.

We have converted one of the farm buildings into bed and breakfast accommodations with four bedrooms and a separate breakfast area. All rooms have central heating and private bathrooms.

From Paris, take the A10 motorway.

After the tollbooths, take the A11.

Take Exit 1 at Ablis.

Take the N10 towards Chartres.

After approx. 13 km you'll come to a second roundabout.

Go three-quarters of the way around the roundabout and take the D19 towards Umpeau.

Stay on D19 through Umpeau.

Cherville is the next village. We're the farm on your right as you enter the village.
